New Features and Functionality

• New UPS Integration
  Orion has a new UPS integration.  This is due to UPS's plan to depreciate their existing integration method in June 2024.  Orion's all new integration method to UPS is a transparent change for users.  HOWEVER, once updating to this release of Orion you will need to update your existing UPS credentials by following the instructions located in Orion at [S-F6-F12].  You will need to set up OAuth credentials for each of your UPS accounts.
  
  
• Purchasing Summary by Item Report
  This is a new report that details purchased made for a user specified period of time at the item level.  This is an excellent report to evaluate how much you have purchased of an item from a specific vendor.  This can help with sourcing your purchasing and also negotiating pricing.  You can find this new report at [M-L-P-F4].
  
  
• Gross Sales by Department Report
  Finally!  After thirty-four years Orion has a sales report that is hooked up to the Department designated on an Invoice.  When you create a Sales Order you can specify an optional "department" for the order.  This new report lists sales by this department designation.  The new report can be found at [M-L-F5-D].
  
  
• Product Label for Rollo Printer
  This new product label is designed for a Rollo X1040 printer.  It is designed for a label that is 2 inches wide and 1 inch tall.  The new label is label #31 - 1x2 Rollo Printer.
  
  
  

Improvements to existing Features

• New Option for Batch Label Printing
  On Batch Label Printing located at [M-I-P-P] you can now indicate that you want to exclude the printing of labels that have ZERO On-Hand.
  
  
• UPS Flat Rate Shipping is now supported
  Via Orion's fantastic, optional Integrated Shipping system you can now ship UPS Flat Rate.  To learn more about Orion's Integrated Shipping System for UPS and FedEx please contact hpCommerce Software Support.
  
  
• Address Validation can now be turned off for Ship-To addresses
  This affects address validation in Orion's Integrated Shipping system.  You can now mark Customer Alternate Ship-To addresses to be skipped during Address Validation in the shipping system.  This is done via the Shipping Addresses section under Customer Management.
  
  
• Production Orders can now be "Un-Issued"
  Un-issuing a Production Order allows you to make changes to the order.  Changes like modifying the BOM tied to a Production Order can now be made by using this new feature.  This feature can be found at [M-U-C-N] Revert to Non-Issued for the selected Production Order.
