Build 8.0.10.0
Released March 31, 2022
New Features and Functionality
- Ability to Duplicate an Invoice from Customer Account History
You can now duplicate an invoice directly from the Customer Account History [G-F5]. Once the invoice is duplicated either to a new Sales Order or a new Quote you can immediately edit the newly created document. - Ability to Import Vendor Quantity Available
This feature is used to send a vendor's quantity available to Orion's various eCommerce integrations and sales channel integrations. You can use [M-N-F11] Import Vendor Quantity Available to update the available quantity that a vendor has on hand. This is used in cases where Orion does not automatically integrate to this vendor's service and a spreadsheet of this information is available. Each time a specific vendor's quantity available is imported is will ZERO out all current available for that vendor and add the new available per the imported spreadsheet. - New Open Item Status Report for Customer Management
This report is intended to be used to advise the customer on the status of their open orders with you. Once a customer has been opened in Customer Management [G] you can then use [9] Open Item Status Report to print this new report. Here are some notes:- The report will list all items that the customer has on open orders or the Back Order ledger.
- Only one line will appear for a given part. All activity for that part will be summarized into that line.
- You can exclude a Product Line or a Part from appearing on the report by using the new flags that have been added to Product Line Code Maintenance [L-B] and to Part Number Maintenance [L-L]. These new flags are labeled "Exclude from Status Report".
- The report is automatically addressed to the customer in the header of the report. If a purchasing contact has been defined for the customer via the customer contacts section of Customer Management the the report will also be addressed to those contacts.
- If the report is being emailed then it will automatically load the email addresses of any contacts that have been defined as having a purchasing designation.

- You can release the quantity held for all selected items.
- You can cancel all selected back orders too.
- You can manage and "lock" the pricing for and individual back order. Select a single back order line and select [U] Update Pricing. When this back order is then added to a sales order it will bring forward this adjusted selling price into the sales order.
