New Features and Functionality

  • Customer Lifetime Sales Feature
    If you starting hpCommerce Orion after using another software package then you have the opportunity to import the gross sales total for customers that occured prior to you starting your use of Orion.  A data field called "Lifetime Sales" has been added to [G-1].  The value displayed in this field is a combination of sales prior to Orion and sales that have been performed via Orion.  If you are interested in this feature please contact hpCommerce Software Technical Support for help.

  • Kit Details can now be controlled on Pick Sheets
    You now have extensive control over whether kit details print on Pick Sheets:
    • You can set a system level control for this on [S-F7-F4] Invoice Preferences
    • You can set a kit level control for this on [M-H-B] Kit Maintenance


Improvements to existing Features

  • Drop Ship Fees are now captured and applied when importing orders from Orion's Motor State Distributing's Price Guide Pro
    Orion integrates to Motor State's excellent online ordering platform, Price Guide Pro.  When you import an order from Price Guide Pro Orion will now also import and apply any Drop Ship Fees too.  To learn more about how to import an order from Price Guide Pro please see this video HERE.

  • Vendor Item Export can now Exclude Inactive Items
    An option has been added to [M-N-F5] that allow items that are marked as "Inactive" to be excluded from this export.

  • Check Date on Check Stub has been Modified
    Checks printed via Orion Checkbook Module have been modified to make the date more readable.  To learn more about Orion's excellent, easy to use Checkbook Module please see this video series HERE.

  • Auto Synch feature for External Product IDs added to BigCommerce integration
    Orion's optional BigCommerce integration can now attempt match items from Orion to the BigCommerce website and fetch the BigCommerce External Product ID for each part listed on the website.  This ID is then applied to the part in Orion.  Once this integration is complete Orion will then be able to automatically maintain the quantity available on the BigCommerce website.
