New Features and Functionality
- Customer can now be edited from Sales Order
While creating or editing a Sales Order you can now edit the Customer assigned to the order. Pressing [F10] View Customer from the header form of the Sales Order will open the assigned customer for editing. Once edits are applied you can return to the order. This allows you to make immediate adjustments to a customer's master record during the ordering process. - Shipping Address can now be edited from Sales Order
Edits applied to the Shipping Address for a Sales Order now update the master record for that shipping address. The allows you to update and correct shipping address information during the ordering process. - New 1x3 Part Number Label
A new part number label for the Zebra line of printers has been added. The label measures 1 x 3 and is label "22 - 1 x 3 Zebra Printer." - New Customer Address Label
A new 1 x 3 Customer Address label has been added to the Customer Management form. This label is available via [G-F6] Mailing Labels. The default Mailing Label can be set on [S-F2] Printing Setup and Defaults. - Built in Print Screen Feature
A built in print screen tool has been added to hpCommerce Orion. This tool is available by using the hot-key Ctrl-Shft-P. You can use this hot-key anywhere in Orion to print the currently viewed screen's contents.
Improvements to existing Features
- Pick Sheet - On-Hand can now be displayed
You can now configure the Pick Sheet to display an On-Hand column. The setting is available as [S-F7-F4] Printing options. Set "Print On-Hand on Pick Sheet" to YES. Normal Location has been added to kit component lines too. - Item Sales History Enhanced
The Item Sales History that is available via [L-L-F8] has been dramatically enhanced. It now includes the following:- Sales History breakdown of the direct sale of an item and statistics for usage as a component of Kits and BOM's
- Breakdown and comparison of sales for current and prior year
- Detailed breakdown of the Available balance for an item, this includes amounts held for backorders, sales orders and conversions
- Purchase Order status
- Item Purchase History Enhanced
The Item Purchase History that is available via [L-L-F7] has been enhanced. It now includes the following:- Cost breakdown
- Min/Max and Reorder Quantity
- Detailed breakdown of the Available balance for an item, this includes amounts held for backorders, sales orders and conversions
- Purchase Order status
- Who Bought It Enhanced
The Who Bought It function available via [L-N] has been enhanced. Price, Margin % and Margin $ have been added to each row for the selected item. - Purchase Order Items form dashboard enhanced
New features have been added to the Purchase Order Items form dashboard (this is the navigation areas that appears at the bottom of most forms in Orion). This is the form that lists all of the items that are on a given purchase order. These enhancements put powerful decision data right at your fingertips. Without navigating to other areas you can now research the order status, stocking status, sales and purchase history just by pressing one key.- [H] Sales History will open the enhanced Item Sales History form for the selected item
- [P] Purchase History will open the enhanced Item Purchase History form for the selected item
- [W] Who Bought It will open the enhanced Who Bought It form and will automatically perform a search the the last five (5) years of detailed sales history for the selected item

Detailed stocking status data has been added to the Purchase Order Item form. This puts detailed information right on the form as you are working with ordering an item. This data in conjunction with the history forms that are just a keystroke away give you all of the tools that you need to make a purchasing decision:- Detailed breakdown of the Available balance for an item, this includes amounts held for backorders, sales orders and conversions

- Min/Max and Reorder Quantity
- 12 Month Sales / Usage
- MTD Sales / Usage
