New Features and Functionality

• Tracking Numbers automatically retrieved from external sources are now automatically forwarded to Yellow Hat Web
  Orion has the ability to retrieve tracking numbers from external sources, such as Motor State Distributing.  Now once these numbers are retrieved they will automatically be forward to an integrated Yellow Hat Web website.  This will give shoppers an extremely quick "advanced shipping notice".  This is particularly nice for drop shipped orders.

Improvements to existing Features

• BOM and Kit "Is a Component of" listings have been enhanced to show quantity
  Orion has a great report that you can use to see what BOM's and Kit's an item is on.  This report has been enhanced to show the quantity of the item on a given BOM or Kit.  See [L-L-F9-F10] Is Component of for a sample.
  
  
• BOM Usage Trend History has been added to the BOM Maintenance form [M-D-B]
  The BOM Usage Trend History shows and excellent, 12 month moving, bar graph of how a given item has been used as component on any BOM's.  Since Orion allow nested BOM's it is possible for a BOM to be a component on a BOM.  This function has existed on the Part Maintenance form [L-L] for some time and has now been added to the BOM Maintenance form too.
  
  
• Importing Quote into Sales Order now updates the cost of all items to current cost
  This is the cost of items, not the price that you are charging to the customer.  Now when a quote is imported into a sales order the current average cost for all items and the current base cost for labor items will be used to update the cost of the items imported into the sales order.  The benefit of this is an accurate profit margin for the order.
  
  
• Search by Event on the Advance Invoice Search [M-G-F11]
  You can now search for invoices via the Event field of the order.  If you are using the Event field on Sales Orders to code in important information you can now search by this field to find invoices.
  
  
• Invoice Search Results can now be Printed
  When you use the Advance Invoice Search [M-G-F11] you can now print an invoice listing from the results by using [P] Print Invoice Listing.  This is a handy tool to get a list of invoices that meet your search results.  You can then use this list to further your research.  The listing includes totals at the bottom of the list for the data shown on the listing.
  
  
• Date on Check Printout shifted to the left
  In some cases the date and check number were interfering with each other on the top check stub of the three part check.  The date has been moved to the left to avoid this.

Fixes

• When adding an item to a purchase order if a cost with greater than 4 decimal places was added it would cause Orion to lock up in some cases.  Modifications have been made to prevent this.
